Laser Cleaning & Rust Removal
-
It all begins with a vehicle you’re interested in getting undercoated. If it isn’t brand new, chances are you might have some rust forming. Living in MN is tough, our state heavily salts roadways with extremely corrosive chloride mixtures. It’s okay if you have some rust that needs to be attended to before undercoating, at Carson Undercoating we’re well equipped to handle it. To give an accurate estimate on cleanup cost and prep, please text/email us photos of your vehicle’s undercarriage.
-
Now that your vehicle is in our hands and we’ve assessed its condition, we’ll immediately get to work on cleaning up your vehicle’s undercarriage in preparation for undercoating. To do this, we will first descale with a pneumatic needle scaler and follow up with our laser cleaning machine.
-
Once we’ve finished cleaning up everything we can on your vehicle’s undercarriage, it’s time to move onto primer. This extra step is very important, we’ll apply a coat of Eastwood Rust Encapsulator to ensure your vehicle is ready for undercoating.
-
Once the primer has dried for 4 hours, it’s time to finally move onto undercoating and really bring your vehicle back to life!
